Hello 2024. I’m in denial that a new year is already upon us. But, that is the same way I feel every time there is a new year upon us. To start off the new year, I thought it would be fun to have a little list to introduce (or re-introduce) myself to those that find there way to my little online home. Hello! I hope you stay awhile.

• I’m an only child.
• Grew up in CA (and will forever be a CA girl at heart).
• Mountains ⛰️ and oceans 🌊 are my favorite.
• I’m an introverted, enneagram 5, Capricorn ♑️.
• Biology nerd 🧬.
• I like CrossFit 🏋️‍♀️ and hiking 🥾.
• Pet parent 🐾.
• Would almost always rather be reading a book 📚 and drinking coffee ☕️.
• My day job is as a Biology professor 👩‍🏫.
• I believe I am considered an “Elder Millenial,” and I’m starting to get the gray hairs to prove it 😝.
• My current most favorite book is ‘The Night Circus’ by Erin Morgenstern.
• My sense of humor comes from my father and from growing up reading ‘Calvin & Hobbes.’
• My hobbies include reading and buying books. Yes, those are separate activities.
• Give me all the soft blankets, candles, and warm beverages served in mugs. I have a Hygge soul.
• My goal for this year is to finish writing the book I started in November of 2023. No clue what I’ll do with it, but I want to finish it.
• Blogging, Instagram, Pinterest… all those places are for me to be able to express my creative side. I do it less for others and more for myself and to have an outlet for stuff I like to make.
