As we come to the end of the semester, I am very much ready to cocoon myself into a blanket and avoid the rest of the world for a while. The holidays this year are going to be a chance to me to rest, recover, and reset some goals for next year in how to organize my life so that I can enjoy the little things more. As I get older, I am embracing my introvert, hermit tendencies more. Maybe this is good, maybe not. But I accept that this is who I am, and where I feel most comfortable. And I am beyond trying to live my life for others’ expectations. My happiness is mine alone to define.
