Continue reading →: Butcher & BlackbirdDark romantic rom-com about serial killers that kill other serial killers and start up a yearly competition to see who can get to a target first. What’s not to love? Seriously, this book is the best combination of heartfelt pining, he-falls-first, “coworkers”-to-friends-to-lovers, bantering spicy romance that I have read in…

Continue reading →: Afraid to Fall – Chapter 2I’m experimenting a bit with a dual timeline. And while there will be POV sections from the MMC, most of it is first person POV from Jade, the FMC. Continue reading →: The Longest AutumnAt the end of this book, there is a line that at first seems incredibly simple, but really does sum up everything that had transpired in all of the previous pages: “A heart can hold more than one love.” Tirne is the Herald of Autumn, one of the gods that…

Continue reading →: Afraid to Fall: Chapter 1I know this is something more like a Patreon or newsletter might get, and I don’t know how many chapters I’ll serialize here, but I am still pecking away at that book I’ve teased on here before. My original goal was to have a draft by February. That might still…

Continue reading →: Top 12 for 2023I was going to do an all stats wrap-up for my year of reading, but instead I want to try something different. Each month of 2023, I chose my favorite book for that month. And I’m including here a link to my Goodreads review and a short summary of what…
