A Marriage in trouble

Sometimes a random book choice initially made because of a cover (I mean… silver fox anyone?) hits all the notes you didn’t realize you wanted to hear. In Right Next Door we get an older FMC and MMC with an age gap. We get a marriage in trouble, but not between the couple you think it will be. We get kink exploration and personal growth and an MMC that falls first and hard.

I loved Ian and Nicole. The communication between our main characters is handled so well and honestly. Nicole is faced with a request for an open marriage from her husband and is thrown for a huge loop. Ian has been a friend, and steps in as someone more as Nicole figures out how to navigate a newly non-monogamous marriage. What neither of them expects is to realize their deeper feelings for each other along the way.

I truly enjoyed this whole story and all of the supporting characters as well. This little community of business owners certainly looks out for one another (along with sharing a hefty dose of gossip). This is part of a series of standalones about members of the same family, but it reads fine without having read any of the other books.
