Yeah, it’s been a minute since I last posted. Which is a very familiar refrain from me. The real world keeps getting in the way of all that I want to do that is not related to my 9-5 job (let’s face it, the job sprawls way past regular business hours because I work in education).

I’m still reading, attempting to puzzle, and have very much left anything writing-related far by the wayside. Even my dabbling in Canva has slowed down outside of direct book review posting.

But, I had a hair to make a mock-up cover for a “fantasy magazine.” So I did it. And I kinda like it. Now, I also want to come up with mock magazine interviews of some of my favorite characters – like those old back-of-magazine pages where they have a list of favorites. Or maybe make covers for book reviews (like I do sometimes with my Netflix-style ones). This is the first time in a while where I felt even remotely creative, and I leaned in as much as time would allow.
