When the world is in chaos, I buy books. Honestly, I don’t need a reason to buy books, but I tend to do it more when everything else feels too big to handle. So, over the past few months, I’ve acquired some new bookshelf trophies.

I’ve also ended up with a couple non-book things. One of which is my new favorite necklace from Wyther. I love the mixed metal, and the fact that it is a star.

I also got some fun book convention goodies from a friend! A signed art print of the Barista from Clio Evans’ Creature Cafe series. And a signed book from Lee Jaquot from the Holinight novella series! Seriously, an amazing friend to bring back things for me 🙂

There is also a new bookstore within driving distance of me that is all about romance! Got some books, and a mug (and lots of stickers!).

The rest came from Half Price Books and Barnes & Noble. I went on a bit of a signed, special edition buying binge at Half Price Books (I apparently am a sucker for pretty sprayed edges). I also came home with a couple new puzzles, despite the fact that I am still working on the one I bought over the summer because I can’t seem to take the time to sit there and finish it. But I did finally get a puzzle mat to do it on (next up is a puzzle folder to save the completed ones).

I would say about 1/3 of the books are ones I have read already, and the rest are now added to the TBR.

Oh, and that bookmark was too funny to pass up 😉
