I haven’t been finding a ton of time for hobbies lately, other than reading (and even that has tapered off in comparison to last year). But I do still have fun in Canva.

I love taking images and creating layered landscapes. I like to see how I can take the Canva elements and create something new. These are things I would never be able to draw or paint on my own, but can picture in my mind. I think it is a little bit of a push back from my sometimes desire for minimalism. These images are full of hidden surprises, and feel dense and cozy and mysterious.

There really is a duality in me that both wants clean and simple, but also a cozy den full of books and plants and cute little things that make me happy. I truly feel like an omegaverse nest would be something I could live in (if only I had the room to make one).
