What would you call it when the the FMC and MMC meet at a sex party? I mean, is it a meet cute? A meet spicy? A meet “at the right place at the right time”?

Whatever you call it, Zelda and Benedict find each other a a super secretive sex party. Benedict because he was nudged there by his brother, Zelda because her costar said it would be fun. Immediate sparks fly between our Hollywood star and the grumpy king. So much so that they continue the party at one of his estates… And then everything happens to throw ice on the relationship.

I adore Zelda and Ben. They both get to feel all the feels. And Benedict especially gets to grapple with the fact that his relationship with Zelda actually means something, and is worth doing everything and anything he can to show her that it truly is real, and not just for show. That she can trust him, despite his earlier behavior. And Zelda is so strong, not giving in immediately and trying so hard to guard her heart from a grumpy king that shows her his softer side.

This is another amazing book from Cleo, and I can’t wait for the next one 🙂
