Books and Cozy Chaos

Cream Puffs and Fairy Dust

OK, as much as I am a down bad devotee of Devyn Sinclair’s omegaverse books, I am working my way through her paranormal ones as well. Point of No Return was great (Phantom of the Opera with gargoyles), and the Moon Enchanted series was also good (shifters and fated mates). The most recent one I came across was Skyla.

It has a dark fae motorcycle club, a war with a rival warlock biker club, and a half-fae dancer that has caught the eye of a certain club president (and his crew) while also getting stuck in the middle of a turf war. Plus, there’s a kitten with wings! Seriously, Cream Puff has sass and I love it 😻.

If you like your books on the darker, morally gray side, with explorations of kink and control and coming to peace with who you truly are inside (all with a badass FMC), this one is for you. Skyla has quickly become my favorite book of Devyn’s that I’ve read so far. I love the relationship between Skyla and her friends, and how she navigates her place with Silver and the rest of the fae while taking control of her choices. This has quickly become a reread/comfort book for me.
