As much as I would love to buy every book ever and live in a library, that is not physically or financially possible at the moment. Maybe ever. So, I’ve had to take stock of my book buying habits – as they pertain to physical copies of books – and make some changes.

What I’ve come up with mostly comes down to only purchasing bookshelf copies of books I have already read and loved, books from authors that I consider “auto-buy,” and books that are recommended by people I trust.

I still have a physical TBR that is never-ending, but I am also a little more selective as to which books I bring home from the bookstore. Not that I will be perfect every time (sometimes, the cover and the blurb just sound good). But this was I hope to be able to keep more of what I love, and be less likely to have to donate or sell off books I didn’t click with.
