Oh, there is so much I could say. Want to say. But every time try to, words fail me. Funny.

So I take the words of those far better than I to share my thoughts. While many of us read to escape, in reading we also see ourselves, our world, and how things are. Could have been. May yet become.

In so many fantasy books, and science fiction, we read of rebellion. Of revolution and resistance. And in life, when faced with situations that we have only read about in fiction (or maybe in history books), those we thought would side with the resistance end up quiet and thinking that life under the empire, under the ruler, might not turn out so bad.

Yeah… it doesn’t really work like that.

Especially now, when talk is cheap and misinformation runs rampant, remember to take people at their deeds rather than their words. Even myself. What do you see people do? What have they done in the past? You can speak pretty lies while standing on the neck of those you seek to silence.
