I admit, I have not read the backlist of Tal Bauer in its’ entirety. I have read all the sports romances (and How to Say I Do). And in those stories, I have found nothing but aching, pining, and a version of TX that I actually don’t mind reading about. My first book was Gravity (go hockey!), and my favorite to date is probably You & Me (Later in life bi-awakening football dads. Trust me, it works). The two quotes below are from that book. Tal has a way to create yearning in what at first glance feels like a mundane description.

I mean, wine never sounded so good to me before this. If you like MM romance, I do highly recommend Tal’s books. But don’t be surprised if sports romances end up making you cry…
