Declarations of Love

Another round of book quotes! These ones focused on male declarations of love. Two of which are *swoon-worthy* and one of which is… Kon.

The first declaration of love comes from the book What Was Meant to Be by Q.B. Tyler. Q.B. is the queen of taboo and age-gap romances with all the spicy spice and emotional roller-coasters and often disastrous fallout from said romances being discovered. But, the HEA is always worth it, and the men are just down bad for their women. Case in point – Jacob Price.

Another devastating declaration is from Consort of Darkness by Molly Tullis. This story follows Nyx and Erebus and the follies of gods. Erebus did Nyx so wrong, and definitely has to grovel his way back into her arms. But this quote shows that he is up to the challenge. If you like mythology retellings, this book is so good and I highly recommend! It’s the first in a series.

And now we have Kon. The Mercenaries and Magic series by Alessa Thorne may be one of my absolute favorite series of late. It has snark and banter and magic and adventure and all sorts of villains and morally gray people doing their things. But it also has found family, absolute loyalty, and love to spare. The women are strong – often more so than the guys – and it’s like reading an Indiana Jones/Lara Croft hybrid.
