While I have, in the past, cleaned out and did an “unhaul” of books, most of the time I am adding to the personal library. The list of books to be read never ends. As soon as one gets finished, at least two more take its place. I don’t make the rules, that’s the nature of being a bookworm.

I do use the library and Kindle Unlimited a lot as well, so there are even more books on the list than there are physically on my bookshelves. I keep telling myself that just because I buy books, it could be worse. And a lot of my finds come from Half Price Books (and Target and Barnes and Noble and Amazon sales and my local indie bookstores).

Some recent finds are below. And by recent, I mean within the last 6 months. I don’t always get pics of the new books stacks, so these are combined from multiple trips. I mean, as far as hobbies go, this could be worse. And book collecting/buying is a separate hobby from book reading. So with books I get two hobbies for the price of one! Oh, the lies I tell myself…

The Whispering Dark is actually the book before Your Blood, My Bones, which I read earlier this year as an ARC. So, now I have the first book in that universe. I am currently reading The Encyclopaedia of Faeries. Wild and Wicked Things sounds very intriguing, as does The Familiar.

I am not always a horror person, but both Middlegame and Plain Bad Heroines sounded too good to pass up. I have added quite a bit to my romance shelves with The Girl With Stars in Her Eyes, Beautiful Vengeance, This Could Be Us, and That Time I got Drunk and Saved a Demon. Belladonna has gothic vibes that are becoming my new favorite thing to read (I think it is my bridge to horror), and Legends & Lattes just sounds like a cozy treat.
