A random one for today. I really like my Kindle Scribe. The pencil writes as close to paper as I have used for a tablet, and it allows me to keep notes on the same device that I read on. One thing I have manage to do is start drawing what has ended up being my own version of color book pages. When I was young, I would always draw and doodle on the margins of notebook paper, on post-it notes, any time I was bored or trying to waste time.
Most of the time these drawings ended up being repeating patterns of shapes, or swirling lines. Some even ended up being mazes. This is one of the things I recently drew on my Kindle. I think I found a new way to relax and wind down, outside of reading itself. Drawing hte patterns, seeing where the lines take me, has been a fun diversion.
I’m really just falling back in love with all the things I used to do as a kid. Reading. Drawing. Writing. And I’m not mad about it.
