Books and Cozy Chaos

Those in Need

This is a little out of pocket (and normal scheduling for posting) for what I normally write/share, but when reading a very much unrelated book yesterday (Cruel Seduction by Katee Robert), I came across a quote that hit home in light of everything going on in the world right now.

I am not going to get into my own personal views/politics here on everything. Suffice it to say that rarely do those that bear the brunt of the assault during war or crisis ever have a true say in if they even want to be there. Most of us just want to live, in peace, and survive to find a place to feel at home. No one should feel as if they have no home, or that they have no hope.

In times like this, I focus on those that reach out to provide aid that have no affiliation to anyone except those that are displaced and affected by whatever tragedy has befallen them. Two that I am noting here, UNICEF and World Central Kitchen, are there to help. No matter who needs it. The links above are to their donation pages, if you are able to do so.
