I made it a goal to post at least twice a week here. And if I didn’t have an idea of my own, I would use the daily prompts that WordPress so graciously gives us. This one is tough in that I honestly have no idea. It does bring to mind a quote from Welcome to Nightvale, “Death is only the end if you assume the story is about you..”
It also makes me think about all of the books that I read about books and stories and the impossibilities and possibilities of time. Of a line that I have tattooed on my skin from the book The Starless Sea, “We are all stardust and stories.” I guess I hope that my thread of the story of the universe, if not remembered for me being a friend and someone that truly cares about those around her, is that at some point, somewhere, during my brief appearance in the universe, I made someone’s life better. If only for a moment. Because even a single moment of kindness can do great things.
